Who you are dealing with

Products

Every piece is handmade, so colour, weave, bead placement and finish vary slightly from one to the next and from the photographs. That variation is a feature of handmade work and is not a defect. We photograph pieces as accurately as we can, but screens differ.

Many pieces are one of a kind or made in very small batches. Where stock shows only one available, that is literally the only one.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude taxes and shipping, which are shown at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but changes never affect an order already placed.

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. Your order is accepted when we send your order confirmation, not when payment is authorised. If we cannot fulfil an order - for example if the last piece sold moments earlier - we will contact you and refund you in full.

Pricing errors

If a piece is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to human or technical error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after confirmation. We will always contact you first.

Made-to-order pieces

Made-to-order and custom-colour pieces are created for you after you order, take longer to arrive, and cannot be returned unless faulty. The product page says when a piece is made to order.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to interfere with the site, scrape it at scale, resell our product photography or descriptions, or use the shop for anything unlawful.

Our content

The photographs, text, logo and design on this site belong to us or our suppliers and may not be copied or reused commercially without written permission.

Liability

We stand behind what we sell. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under applicable Canadian consumer protection law, or our liability for death, personal injury or fraud. Beyond that, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to what you paid for that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of [PROVINCE, e.g. Ontario] and the federal laws of Canada, and disputes will be dealt with by the courts of that province.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
