"I grew up between two worlds, the markets of Lagos, loud and full of colour, and the quiet order of a Canadian winter. The one thing that always connected them was what I carried: a beaded bag from my aunt, a straw hat from home.
Every time someone stopped me to ask where it was from, I realised these pieces deserved a real stage, and the women who make them deserve a real business behind them. That's why Afro Curated exists: to carry their work to the world, and their livelihood along with it."
